What should you do with an old CD holder, now that your music is stored digitally? Use it in the shop, of course! That’s what reader Jay Brown did with this genius project.
“The problem: saw blades stored in a messy pile, dulling each other and making it difficult to find the one I need.
The find: a discarded CD storage tower with two curved, slotted plywood pieces.
The solution: a shelf for holding saw blades! Blades are kept separate, and the teeth are easy to see. I also incorporated a lower shelf for storing my dado blade set, molder heads and other accessories that don’t fit in the CD slots.” — Jay Brown
